McCall and Payette Lake

McCall and Payette Lake

to Alma Carlson, High Valley, Idaho:
"Dearest Alma: I haven't had time to write since I got home. Perhaps I will before long. Frances is going up today to stay with Ida awhile so I will be chief cook, don't you feel sorry for the men. Ida is pretty bad off but I think she will get along if she has a little better care. Tell Floyd I got my trunk at last. Will write as soon as possible. You do the same. -- Ruth - back

Ruth was Luther Fulton's sister. Luther was married to Alma's half-sister Frances and they had the store in Lardo for many years. Ruth and Alma were close friends throughout their lifetimes.
